AWARDS

Maggie Farrell, diversity and human resources manager for S.M. Wilson & Co., was named the 2022 Inclusion Champion by the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers.

 

EXPANDING

Compass Inc. opened a second office in St. Louis. The new office is located at 1608 South Lindbergh Boulevard in Ladue.

Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria is now selling its frozen artisan pizzas at all of The Fresh Markets’ 159 locations across 22 states.

 

HELPING OUT

Justine Petersen received a $7,500 grant from The Opportunity Trust to develop a financial education curriculum for high school students.

WGU Missouri awarded $30,064 in grant funding to teachers across the state to fund innovative classroom projects that foster learning. Among the grants was $3,000 to transform the community garden and courtyard at Glasgow Elementary School in the Riverview Gardens School District.

Spectrum donated $7,500 to Zion Travelers Community Involvement Association to support programs such as its food pantry.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

EmpowerMe Wellness, which provides healthcare to senior living communities, acquired ONR, an Austin, Texas-based physical, occupational, and speech therapy services provider. Together, EmpowerMe and ONR will serve 100,000 seniors across 36 states.
