Justine PETERSEN Continues to be Top SBA Microlender in Illinois
For as long as the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has recognized the top microlender per state, Justine PETERSEN has assumed that position, both in Illinois and Missouri. The Illinois District Office of the SBA recently released lending figures for fiscal year 2022 as of the end of February; Justine PETERSEN was the top microlender with 62 microloans closed, equaling nearly $700,000 deployed.
JP also originates microloans out of our CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) throughout the state of Illinois. In the Springfield market alone, JP has closed over 50 loans, deploying over $600,000 since July of 2021, the inception of a Springfield-specific Covid Small Business Recovery Loan Program.

Justine PETERSEN staffers Shawna Collier and Randen Click will join partners for Housing Resource on April 9th at the Dellwood Recreation Center. Sponsored by Realtist of Metro St. Louis, Money Smart Month STL and Enterprise Bank & Trust, the event will feature over 25 vendors, including local banking institutions and non-profit housing counseling organizations. Meet with credit counselors, home lenders, realtors and inspectors – all stages and facets of the home buying process will be covered. The Dellwood Recreation Center is located at 10266 W.
