Soul Refresh LLC Brings Natural Wellness to Washington, MO
Jordan and Ryann Greenhoff, founders of Soul Refresh LLC in Washington, MO, are bringing modern wellness therapies—like infrared saunas, red light therapy, and cold plunges—together with timeless values of care and community.
Inspired by family and driven by passion, the couple overcame funding challenges with support from Justine PETERSEN, securing a loan with the help of Aida Richardson to launch their holistic spa. Their goal? For every guest to feel “loved and seen.”
Soul Refresh offers unique services not commonly found in the area and carries exclusive wellness products sourced from trusted platforms. With plans to expand, including hiring a massage therapist and adding a workout pod, the future looks bright.

Sanctuary In the Ordinary Honored for Baden-Hoffen Redevelopment
We are excited to announce that Justine PETERSEN’s affiliate, Sanctuary In the Ordinary’s (SITO’s) Baden Hoffen project was recently recognized as the Mid-Size Housing Development of the Year by the St. Louis Community Development Administration (CDA).
This recognition highlights SITO’s ongoing commitment to revitalizing underserved neighborhoods with dignity and purpose. The Baden Hoffen project focuses on redeveloping six long-neglected buildings located at 7931–39 N. Broadway and 7932–44 Church Drive in the Baden neighborhood. Once viewed as an eyesore and a burden to the community, these properties are being thoughtfully transformed into 13 quality, affordable apartments and three modern commercial spaces for local businesses. One of SITO’s aims for the project is for it to be a beacon of hope for the area. Numerous positive comments from neighbors attest to fulfilling this aim.

The CDA’s award recognizes the quality, efficiency, and speed of SITO’s work on this project. SITO was given the approval to proceed by the city late last year. Through the tireless efforts of SITO’s construction team, a remarkable transformation is taking place. The renovation of the Church Drive buildings is nearly complete, and we expect to welcome the first tenants into their new homes next month.
SITO’s mission has always been to provide dignified and affordable housing, and this project is another testament to that unwavering dedication. With the Baden-Hoffen development now underway, SITO is not only rebuilding structures but also restoring the community’s sense of pride, stability, and opportunity.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!

Scam Alert: Protect Yourself After Tornado Relief Efforts
In light of the recent severe storms in the St. Louis area, Black Wall Street #314 is urging community members to remain vigilant against potential scams targeting those affected by the disasters. Unfortunately, scammers often see such situations as an opportunity to exploit the generosity and vulnerability of others.
How Scammers Operate
Be cautious of various methods scammers might use to reach you, including:
– Phone Calls: Unscrupulous individuals may call pretending to be from legitimate organizations.
– Texts or Emails: Phishing messages may appear to come from trusted sources, asking for donations or personal information.
– Door-to-Door Visits: Beware of individuals going door-to-door soliciting help, as they may not be who they claim.
– Fake Mail Solicitations: Look out for fraudulent letters requesting donations for disaster relief.
If you suspect fraud, it’s crucial to act quickly. You can report any suspicious activity to:
– FEMA Disaster Fraud Hotline: 1-866-720-5721
– Email: disaster@leo.gov
– Additionally, file complaints with the FCC and FTC if you receive scam calls or messages.
