Questions about Your Next Stimulus Check? Find the Answers Here

The American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law last week, meaning another round of stimulus checks are on their way. Individuals making $75,000 or less will receive $1,400 and married couples making a combined $150,000 or less will receive $2,800. The payments are phased out after those income levels, with individuals earning more than $80,000 and couples earning more than a combined $160,000 receiving no payment. To check if, when, and how you will receive a stimulus payment, you can use the IRS’ “Get My Payment” tool. All you need is your date of birth, social security number, and address. There are also instructions on what to do if you did not receive your first or second stimulus payment and a frequently asked questions section to help answer any other questions you may have.  Sincere thanks to JP staffer Daniel Koslovsky for compiling this pertinent information and making it available to all JP clients and partners.
