Client Spotlight: Qahwa Time Café is coming in HOT

Qahwa Time Cafe was created from a deep love of culture, family, and community. As a family-owned and operated business, their vision has always been bigger than just serving coffee. They wanted to create a welcoming space where every guest feels at home while enjoying handmade drinks and food inspired by Middle Eastern, Turkish, Kurdish, Assyrian, and American traditions.

The family that runs Qahwa Time Cafe has spent years traveling across states in search of the specialty drinks and comfort foods they enjoyed growing up. They realized that these experiences were missing in St. Louis. Rather than continue their travels to find these flavors, they decided to bring them home and share them with their local community.

When it came time to turn that vision into reality, they knew they needed a partner who believed in small businesses, culture, and community impact. They came to Justine PETERSEN for funding because they wanted more than a loan. They wanted guidance, support, and a relationship with an organization that understands the challenges of starting and growing a family business.

With support from Justine PETERSEN, Qahwa Time Cafe was able to invest in a fully equipped kitchen and coffee station, source quality ingredients, and prepare for long-term sustainability. Most importantly, they gained a trusted partner who believes in their mission to create a space where culture, connection, and great coffee come together.

Qahwa Time Cafe is not just a spot for a great cup of coffee and a tasty breakfast treat; it’s a place founded on passion and hard work. We believe that small businesses can unite people, one cup at a time.
