Client Spotlight: LaQuinn “Coach Q” Laws-Eshun – Thee Self-Care Creative

LaQuinn Laws-Eshun, or Coach Q, is transforming mental health and wellness in St. Louis, Missouri.

What began as a beauty business gradually evolved into a mental health spa dedicated to helping people feel better inside and out. LaQuinn started her journey as a beautician, and in 2019, she expanded her services beyond beauty to focus on overall wellness and self-care, transforming her original business into a unique space for mental health support.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, her business took a hard hit. Since her work involved close contact with clients, she wasn’t sure how she could keep things going. That’s when LaQuinn reached out to Justine PETERSEN and met Aida.

LaQuinn shared that Aida “can do anything,” and helping her turn a setback into a success was just one of those things. With Aida’s support and JP’s resources, LaQuinn was able to pivot and keep her dream alive.

Today, Thee Self-Care Creative is more than just a business. It’s a place for healing, empowerment, and community. LaQuinn’s mission is to empower individuals to prioritize self-care and mental wellness by fostering a welcoming, supportive environment that inspires growth and belonging. She continues to grow her impact and bring positivity to everyone she meets.

We’re proud to support Coach Q and celebrate her dedication to uplifting the community through self-care and healing.

As you prepare for the fall season, it’s important to review your financial health with a comprehensive checklist. Start by examining your credit reports to ensure accuracy and identify any areas for improvement. Focus on paying down high-interest balances to reduce your overall debt burden, while keeping your credit utilization below 30% to maintain a healthy credit score. Consider automating your monthly payments to avoid late fees and streamline your financial management. Additionally, be mindful of your spending by sticking to a holiday budget. Finally, explore various tools designed to help you build and strengthen your credit for the future.
