Mayor’s Business Luncheon 2024: Celebrating St. Louis’ Economic Pioneers

The annual Mayor’s Business Luncheon 2024 brought together the heart of St. Louis’ business community to celebrate collaboration, growth, and innovation. This prestigious event acknowledged the ongoing efforts of local businesses in developing and maintaining the city’s infrastructure, fueling economic expansion, and fostering a resilient community. With leaders from various industries present, the luncheon served as a platform for Mayor Tishaura O. Jones to highlight the city’s progress and discuss plans for sustainable development, while honoring key contributors who continue to shape St. Louis’ economic landscape.

Will Jordan and Andrew Barnes were prepared for a wonderful lunch and excellent company, with the mayor welcoming us and other organizations from around the city to the luncheon this year. This year’s theme, “Ready to Build,” was central to Mayor Jones’ address. She spoke about the challenges the city has faced and the triumphs that have emerged from adversity, emphasizing how these experiences have strengthened the community. The event honored several key contributors to St. Louis’ growth and vitality.

The Mistress of Ceremonies, Carol Daniel, pulled out a fan to cool herself down and mentioned that it was also used as a form of communication. She suggested that something was going on in St. Louis.

Mayor Jones expressed excitement for the future of St. Louis, noting that the city is poised for significant growth and transformation in the coming year.
