JP Clients Team Up to Support Another JP Client
At Justine PETERSEN, we are always inspired by the resilience and spirit of our clients. They unfailingly show up for their communities. This includes their community within JP. This holiday season, JP identified a family who we believe deserved to hear “Yes, we can and want to help.” Joseph Owens is a 29-year old single father of two beautiful children, Joseph (9) and Amari (7). Joseph came to JP’s Housing Team with the goal of establishing a more permanent housing solution, with the long-term plan of becoming a homeowner. Rooted in nature, spirituality, and meditation, Joseph is looking for his next home to be an embodiment of peace – where Joe Jr., can have space to do his exercises he so enjoys, and Amari can let her creativity grow. In putting out the word to our clients that we would be honoring this family at our Annual Holiday Party, we were reminded again of the boundless generosity of the JP community.
We want to extend our deep gratitude to our clients and supporting partners that donated items to help raise funds for the Owens family. Please be sure to keep them in mind for your holiday shopping this season and all year round.

JP, WashU Partnering for Lunch & Learn This Tuesday, 12/12
Classes may be wrapping up for the Fall semester, but at Justine PETERSEN we’re sharpening up our pencils and getting our lunch packed for the Lunch & Learn this Tuesday, December 12th with Washington University St. Louis. We are thrilled to offer this unique session in partnership with WashU. Faculty from various schools within the university, including the Olin School of Business and Skandalaris Center will be discussing the many available resources WashU has to offer diverse-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. While the event is currently sold out, reach out to Resource Development Associate [and WashU alum!], Andrew Barnes to be the first to know when a spot opens up.

This Hanukkah, Justine PETERSEN wants to extend wishes for Hanukkah sameach. We are reminded more than ever right now of the endurance of light.
Happy Birthday, Travis!
On Wednesday, it was Justine PETERSEN Senior Loan Counselor, Travis Williams’ Birthday. So on Thursday, we decided to throw him our JP Annual Holiday Party. Travis is always willing to provide support and training about his colleagues. We hope this weekend the Chicago Bears can exhibit that same spirit of teamwork, and give him a win for his Birthday.
