Dieterich Bank Makes Strong Commitment to JP
Dieterich Bank recently made a significant investment in Justine PETERSEN for small business lending in Illinois. JP is especially humbled as this comes after Dieterich Bank saw success from a meaningful initial investment to the organization for support of Illinois small businesses impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Justine PETERSEN is a CDFI (community development financial institution), and having trusted bank partners, such as Dieterich Bank, make these types of investments allows the organization to deploy safe and affordable capital for under-resourced businesses. JP Welcomes Summer Intern Sania Hill!
Summer typically brings to mind pools, barbeques, and…internships! This Summer Justine PETERSEN is thrilled to have Sania Hill onboard as our high school intern. Sania (pictured right-most, along with her mother and sister at JP’s Black Homeownership Caravan) is focused on loan structure data integrity and building skills in client relationship building through work with our asset building counselors. While at JP she is most excited to learn about how to build her own credit at a young age, and being able to pass that knowledge on to others. Working with clients is what most interested Sania in working at JP as she already at a young age has a strong passion to help those facing challenging situations. During the school year Sania is active in a number of extracurriculars, such as basketball and leadership club. Even though Sania has taken on a summer internship, she’s still enjoying all that the season has to offer; “I love having more time in the Summer to hangout with my family and do lots of fun activities with them, like floating on rivers nearby St. Louis.” Welcome to JP, Sania!

Nothing says “Summer” quite like smoked ribs. Especially when it’s from someone who expertly knows what they’re doing. That’s what you’ll find in Justine PETERSEN client Redmond Harris, the proprietor of Red’s The One and Only based in Ferguson, MO. The team at JP has long known Red has some of the best barbeque and accompanying sides around, with a line immediately forming down the hall as soon as it comes through the door for staff lunches. Now the rest of St. Louis knows it too as St. Louis Magazine recently named it a best BBQ spot in St. Louis. To really believe it though, you’ll have to see for yourself.
