Paramount Bank Provides $2M in Lending Capital to Justine PETERSEN
Justine PETERSEN is proud to welcome Paramount Bank as a new financial partner in the St. Louis marketplace. Recently, Justine PETERSEN closed on a $2M loan from Paramount Bank to be redeployed as lending capital throughout JP’s service footprint. The flexible lending capital will enable JP to be both nimble and exacting for clients with nuanced capital needs, opening doors to financing that otherwise would not be within reach. Paramount Bank also recently participated in JP’s Black Home Ownership Caravan in June, which celebrated and promoted Black Homeownership throughout the St. Louis region.

Justine PETERSEN Welcomes Jared Evans as Summer Intern in Peoria, Il
Justine PETERSEN is pleased to welcome Jared Evans as a summer intern in our Peoria marketplace. Jared has been immersed into “all things financial asset building” with JP this summer, having participated in webinars and in-person meetings with both JP clients and partners. Most specifically, Jared is planning and hosting two events in Peoria in early August – one will focus on building the creditworthiness of business owners in the hair and beauty sectors, and the other will highlight young, Black entrepreneurs with an “Open Mic, Open for Business” theme at a local Peoria Black owned business. Asked what attracted him to Justine PETERSEN, Jared responded, “I’ve seen how important economic development is through my father’s work and it can change people’s lives for the better, and I wanted to be a part of that.”
Jared will be a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this fall, where he is majoring in Computer Science and Economics. Outside of school and work, Jared enjoys playing basketball, football and video games and is eager to learn how to play the piano. Welcome aboard Jared!

Build It and They Will Park
We are in full prep mode for JP’s upcoming 25th Anniversary Block Party – and that means giving our parking lot behind the Grand office a full-redo! Our vista from the second floor office is a veritable Tonka Toy construction site. And it doesn’t stop there: new steps to the rear office entrance and a new sidewalk along the Windsor entrance. We’ll be ready to party in no time!
