JP Participates in Community Resource Fair Hosted by Tri-County Urban League in Peoria, Illinois
JP staffers Solomon Chandler and Tristan Brown educated and informed community residents about JP’s asset-building products and services at a community resource fair held recently at the Tri-County Urban League located in Peoria, Illinois. Attendees were offered free credit counseling by JP staffers and the opportunity to begin a micro loan application. JP is excited about future partnering efforts with the Tri-County Urban League in the Peoria marketplace.
Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund Now Open
Justine PETERSEN is a participating partner in the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund (IHAF). Facilitated by the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), the IHAF will provide relief to thousands of homeowners throughout the state of Illinois who have fallen behind on their mortgage or other housing related expenses as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The fund will provide up to $30,000 in assistance to help cover delinquent mortgage payments, property taxes, property insurance and homeowner and/or condo association fees.
