Justine PETERSEN Community Advantage loan allowed Doggie Dojo, LLC to purchase an existing business in rural Missouri, including the actual property, facilities (2 buildings), and all of the fixtures located at 3102 State Route 110, DeSoto, MO. Originally there were 4 employees working at Worrynought Kennels in addition to the owners. Those 4 workers were able to continue being employed by Doggie Dojo, LLC. In addition, Doggie Dojo, LLC hired a groomer and an additional part time employee providing jobs to 7 people.
With the funding from Justine PETERSEN, Regena was able to purchase the kennel and then add daycare services (not previously provided), aiming to serve owners with dogs that take medications, require constant care, and/or need socializing skills training in a dog group setting. Doggie Dojo, LLC will also be providing full range grooming services, Pet Taxi, Pet Waste Removal Service, and In Home Pet Checks.
