It’s official! Justine PETERSEN is on the 2021 Top-Rated List of GreatNonprofits! Eligibility is based on the number of review contributions submitted and the average review score, all monitored and managed by GreatNonprofits, the leading online platform for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits. GreatNonprofits is the largest donation website for nonprofits and provides a platform for people to share stories about their personal experiences on more than 1.6 million charities and nonprofits. The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that Justine PETERSEN received from clients, partners, donors, and volunteers.
Introducing the 2022 JP Young Friends Leadership Team
Justine PETERSEN is proud to announce the 2022 Leadership Team for JP Young Friends. The selection process included ballots being cast based on the review of candidate video statements. This year’s Leadership Team includes Devon Moody-Graham as President, Ariana Miller as Vice President, Oluwatoyin Carr as Secretary and Clare Davies as Board Liaison. Congrats to all members of the 2022 Leadership Team!
JP Young Friends is a group of passionate, community-minded, and mission-oriented young individuals between the ages of 18 – 40 who are actively engaged in their community and on their way to becoming powerful actors and advocates for equitable asset building in St. Louis.

Thank YOU alltru Credit Union!
Two of JP’s most favorite alltru Credit Union elves delivered holiday goodies and goodness this week to the JP office. Tracy Verner and Kenneth Paige of alltru not only brought sublime yum-yums to the office, but also their ever present smiles and good cheer. We are grateful for our partnership with alltru, a CDFI credit union that offers their products and services through a satellite location housed at JP’s main office at 1023 N. Grand, and dutifully staffed by Kenneth Paige.

Could there be a Justine PETERSEN without Franchot Cunningham? Was there ever a Justine PETERSEN without Franchot Cunningham? The answer to the latter was a mere three years, when Franchot transitioned and explored a new an endeavor. But every other single year, week, hour and minute found Franchot servicing JP clients, initially as a real estate agent in the early 2000s, transitioning later to an asset building counselor and co-facilitator of JP’s Aspire program that shepherded returning citizens through a robust entrepreneurial curriculum resulting in the realization of their small business dreams. CONGRATS FRANCHOT AND THAK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
‘Tis the Season
The JP office was in full throttle holiday mode this week, after losing last year’s office festivities to the pandemic. Eating, drinking and exchanging gifts was the office modus operandi, which made for steady laughter, banter and never a dull moment. Happy Holidays to ALL!
