EXPANDING
Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville opened a new, four-bed medical stabilization unit to offer inpatient, medically supervised withdrawal management from alcohol, benzodiazepines and opioids.
Sansone Group created a new medical facilities development and acquisition division and hired industry veteran Greg Thompson, former CEO of Southern Orthopedic Associates, as executive director. Thompson will be based in Kentucky.

PROJECTS
St. Clair County Transit District announced the completion of more than $640,000 in renovations and upgrades for Alternative Transportation Services, operated by Southwestern Illinois College. The project included $400,000 to transform the former Motor Coach Employee Credit Union and Metro Transit meeting room, located at the Illinois MetroBus Garage in East St. Louis, into 3,500 square feet of office space that enables ATS to consolidate its services.
