The Pandemic Diaries:  Week Four

The Pandemic Diaries is a weekly reflection penned by individual Justine PETERSEN staff members in the style of journaling, chronicling the daily reality of working from home in the wake of Covid-19.  This week’s diary entry is written by Ben Feimer, Credit Building Manager at Justine PETERSEN.

Congratulations on your new promotion, let’s celebrate with a quarantine!

I started working at Justine PETERSEN in the fall of 2017 as a Credit Building Counselor and I was recently promoted to the Credit Building Manager. Unfortunately, the first day in my new position was the first day that people in the office started working from home. I spent the first few weeks in my new role making sure that everyone’s phones were connected and helping staff with technology that enabled us to continue working and serving our clients remotely.

This my first time in a managerial role, and it has taken quite a while to get used to managing someone remotely. It is not at all what I expected when I accepted this position! Now that we have settled into our remote work, I am excited to try and take the credit building department to new places and help even more people in the future!

Needless to say it’s been quite an experience, taking on a new position as we all adjust to working remotely, coupled with the high volume of loans Justin PETERSEN is providing to help combat the economic crisis.

I want to take this opportunity to commend my coworkers at Justin PETERSEN. It took us a little while to get up and running to full speed, but we are working harder than ever remotely to make sure that our clients can receive the best service possible to get them through these trying times. I am thrilled to be in this position with these amazing people, serving fantastic clients.

JP Pandemic Partner Superhero Tony Smith: Always There in Time of Crisis

PNC Bank partner Thurman “Tony” Smith always delivers. And in this case, with masks.  As part of the US Census 2020 campaign “Be Safe, Be Counted,” Tony and his PNC team handed out protective masks to morning commuters in Chicago.  Thanks Tony!  Thanks Team PNC!
