Through grant support from the Missouri Foundation for Health, Justine PETERSEN is currently recruiting a new cohort of Grow Technicians to be based at the Greencubator on the St. Louis waterfront. With an emphasis on recruiting justice involved participants, the comprehensive paid internship program will teach job skills related to urban agriculture and food production. JP staffers recently traveled to Detroit to offer a comprehensive Credit and Asset-Building Workshop to local stakeholders interested in embedding credit and financial asset-building into small dollar and microenterprise lending. Practitioners in attendance included various non-profit microfinance organizations, as well as local funding entities. Justine PETERSEN is excited to partner and provide tutelage to the dynamic asset-building efforts afoot in the Detroit area.
Hartwig F.C. conquered the Men’s Adult (over 30) Fall Indoor Soccer League in South County with a nail-biting victory over SoCo United.
