Recently, in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), JP staffer Jim Boyle presented in Kirksville, MO on the various small business products and services available to rural businesses. JP offers not only the SBA microloan product, but also the SBA Community Advantage guaranteed loan program and a loan product offered through the USDA. City of Peoria, PNC Bank and Justine PETERSEN Explore Municipal Microloan Fund

The City of Peoria is poised to launch a municipal microloan fund that would take access to capital for local businesses to the next level. In partnership with Justine PETERSEN, the City seeks to capitalize the loan fund with bank investments, and in turn, re-deploy those funds to local businesses in need of financing. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bradley University will also be a partner, providing referrals and technical assistance.
JP’s CEO and COO, Robert Boyle and Sheri Flanigan-Vazquez, recently met Deborah Roethler, Assistant City Manager, along with Tony Smith and Niccole Clements of PNC Bank. Mayor Jim Ardis made a cameo in the above photo!

Justine PETERSEN Staffers Participate in “Emerge” Conference in San Antonio, TX

JP staffers Katie Kristensen and Tamra Thetford attended the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) ’s annual conference, EMERGE. A key theme of the conference, and a rebranding for CFSI, was the launch of their new name, the Financial Health Network. The new name signals the crucial role an entire network of technology and healthcare companies, large employers, and financial services providers play in helping Americans achieve true financial health.
