Jacqueline Hutchinson, Justine PETERSEN Board Member, is the Executive Director for Consumers Council of Missouri, and recently retired VP of Operations for People’s Community Action Corporation of St. Louis. For more than forty years, she has given a voice to low-income consumers by been actively involved in policy and advocacy issues that impact the lives of low-income families and the elderly. Her work includes providing testimony in utility rate cases, cold weather rule proceeding and any other utility cases; working collaboratively to build affordability programs that decrease energy burden; and educating legislatures and the public on the impact on families who can least afford to meet their basic needs.
Ms Hutchinson also works with a collaborative of financial institutions, community based organizations, community leaders, local and state officials, and financial institutions, to assure banking access banks investments in low and moderate-income communities.
Ms. Hutchinson has a BS in Business from Washington University in St. Louis; and MS in Policy Analysis, from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville IL.
