Foodlove Cafe was established in 2005 as a catering company in response to the demand for Chef Kim’s unique fusion of French Cuisine & Soul Food. Combining recipes from her two grandmothers, Chef Kim has created a whole new cuisine genre. The business is owned and operated by wife and husband, Kim M. Cole and Clarence S. Cole.

They received a Community Advantage loan from Justine PETERSEN to start their restaurant business. With over a decade of food industry experience, a loyal customer base, and crave-able menu items, Foodlove Cafe is well positioned to be a thriving and popular eatery.

Their grand opening was on Friday 13th, 2021. The restaurant is open for lunch & dinner 6 days per week with breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. Foodlove Café is the first restaurant in the Kansas City metropolitan area to offer distinctive Home-style/French fusion cuisine.
